The Baggies have come back in for his signature, along with the likes of Sheffield United and Burnley.

Johnston got to choose his destination this summer, and according to a report from the Express and Star, he has elected to return to The Hawthorns.

The tricky attacker will reportedly sign for West Brom on a four-year deal after a £3m fee was agreed with Celtic.

He Travelled to the midlands late last night after saying his goodbyes in Glasgow.

The academy graduate made 93 appearances for the Hoops and won 13 trophies during his time at the club.

He was given several opportunities by many managers, though, and amid injury issues and a lack of consistency, he never truly made it at his boyhood side. A move elsewhere is best for all parties.
