Microsoft investigating Windows 11 update error
Microsoft is investigating reports regarding its recent Windows 11 update which has been causing blue screens of death with MSI motherboards for some users. The BSOD is accompanied by an error message that reads "UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR."
The problem appears to be on Windows 11 KB5029351 optional patch and the only solution to the issue has been uninstalling the update. Many users have reported running into unsupported processors BSOD after installing it, while the issue seems to affect only those using MSI motherboards that have the latest BIOS update applied.

Microsoft has written on Windows Health Center that the issue is being investigated and the cause is being determined. The company has pulled back the update from affected systems.
No issues had been reported while the update was being tested in the Windows Insider Program, but Windows updates that cause problems of varying severity have become quite common.
