Miami Open: who plays today, Sunday 24 March? Times, TV and streaming

Amidst the Miami Open’s return to sunny skies following two days of rain, American Tennis fans found little solace on a gloomy Saturday. The top-ranked U.S. men faced a crushing blow as Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul, and Frances Tiafoe were ousted in the second round, leaving Ben Shelton as their highest remaining hope.

The day began with delays, but Brazilian qualifier Thiago Seyboth Wild wasted no time, stunning Fritz in a remarkable display. Despite Fritz’s impeccable record in opening matches, Seyboth Wild’s precision and power proved too much to handle. Elsewhere, Paul’s hopes were dashed by injury, and Tiafoe was defeated at the hands of Australian Christopher O’Connell. It marked Tiafoe’s earliest exit in Miami, capping off a disappointing Sunshine Double for the crowd favorite.

Elsewhere, Denis Shapovalov resumed his match from Friday, securing an upset victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas, while Andy Murray celebrated his first consecutive wins of the season, showing signs of resurgence after a string of early defeats as he continues to battle on.
