Manchester United's coaching staff are worried about their future prospects due to mounting pressure on manager Erik ten Hag, according to a report.

Ten Hag went some way to silencing his critics after turning round United's poor start to his debut 2022/23 season. The Dutchman led them to a third-place finish in the Premier League as well as victory in the Carabao Cup, ending the club's six-year wait for a trophy.

However, the Red Devils have not kicked on as was expected of them this season. They were eliminated at the group stage of the Champions League and currently sit sixth in the Premier League with a goal difference of zero, while they have also scored fewer goals than relegation-battling Luton Town.

Ten Hag is facing increasing scrutiny for these declining results and performances, particularly with new shareholders INEOS looking to make their mark on the club - they have already appointed Omar Berrada as their new CEO and are in talks with Newcastle over the acquisition of sporting director Dan Ashworth.
