Man Utd loanee Mason Greenwood could face fine after being spotted at Burger King
Getafe forward Mason Greenwood was allegedly spotted purchasing a meal from Burger King after head coach José Bordalás had banned his players from eating junk food.
The Manchester United loanee is currently playing for the LaLiga club, who he joined when the Old Trafford outfit notified him of their decision to not call him back for first-team action.
Greenwood at risk
Greenwood now risks being disciplined after going against Bordalás’ orders. The Spanish club weighs their players who can subsequently be fined if they are deemed over the desired weight.
The England international was reportedly spotted at Burger King with his father Andrew after Friday’s training session in the Spanish capital.
Greenwood featured in Getafe’s 1-1 draw against Real Betis on Saturday. Spanish forward Borja Mayoral equalised for Los Azulones after Marc Roca put Betis in front in the first minute of the Game. Greenwood played for 78 minutes before being replaced by midfielder Óscar Rodríguez.
