Luton Town's search for a second Premier League win of the season continues when they host high-flying Tottenham in Saturday's early kick-off.

The Hatters earned an important victory in their visit to fellow strugglers Everton but were beaten by Burnley in a relegation three-pointer in midweek.

Spurs, who have no European football to contend with this term, were the beneficiaries of some awful refereeing during their late 2-1 victory over Liverpool last weekend.

Here's 90min's rundown of the first Premier League fixture of Gameweek eight.

Luton vs Tottenham score prediction

Tottenham approach the Premier League's early kick-off on Saturday as firm favourites for a win that would put them at the top of the division ahead of Manchester City's meeting with Arsenal on Sunday.

Spurs have managed wins over two of the three promoted sides already this season, thrashing Burnley 5-2 away and squeezing past Sheffield United 2-1 at home, and their quality in the final third should be too much for Edwards and Town to deal with.

The last three league meetings at Kenilworth Road between these two sides have ended goalless, but there is little danger of that run of results - which spanned from 1989 to 1992 - stretching to a fourth game.

Prediction: Luton 1-3 Tottenham
