LEGO and X-Men Are Taking It Back to the ’90s with the X-Mansion Release
LEGO is giving X-Men fans a chance to relive the ’90s animated series in brick form thanks to a new upcoming release.
Referencing the portrayal of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning from the ’90s cartoon, the X-Mansion has been brought to life in a 3,093-piece set. Designed to be modular with several Easter eggs hidden throughout, the X-Mansion sees a two-level build with a buildable Sentinel figure and 10 additional minifigures in the form of Professor X, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Storm, Gambit, Rogue, Iceman, Bishop, and Magneto.
Rooms include Professor X’s laboratory, Wolverine’s bedroom, a medical lab, the lobby, a classroom, the library, and the Danger Room training facility along with Cerebro.
Standing at over 10.5 in. (27 cm) high, 16 in. (40 cm) wide, and 10 in. (25 cm) deep, the Marvel x LEGO X-Mansion is one of those sets where it’s just as fun building it as it is playing with it afterwards. Relive those precious scenes from the cult animation come November 4 this year when it releases for a retail price of $329.99 over at the LEGO store.
If X-Men is not your thing, LEGO also recently tapped into the gaming community with its first-ever Fortnite sets.
