The Las Vegas Raiders (2-4) and LA Rams (1-4) will square off in Week 7 as both teams look to inch closer to the .500 mark. Kickoff from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., is set for 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS) Sunday. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Raiders vs. Rams odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Raiders have lost 2 games in a row after starting the year 2-2, losing to the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers in the last 2 weeks. QB Aidan O’Connell has replaced Gardner Minshew as the starter, but the change hasn’t yielded the results coach Antonio Pierce was looking for.

The Rams were on their bye in Week 6, getting the week off after starting the year 1-4. They’re sitting in last place in the NFC West, but they’re just 1½ games behind the 3-3 San Francisco 49ers for the division lead. Injuries have taken a toll on the Rams all year, with WRs Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua each missing 3-plus games.

Raiders at Rams picks and predictions

Prediction

Rams 24, Raiders 13

Moneyline

The Rams are heavily favored in this matchup, but they’re not a good enough team to warrant a bet at -350 odds. The Raiders upset the Ravens in Week 2, and while that’s not expected to happen again this week, the Rams haven’t played enough consistent football this season to feel good about laying that number.

PASS.

Against the spread

This is just the 1st time all season the Rams are favored over their opponent, and they’re giving a lot of points to Las Vegas. Even as 7-point favorites, they’re the better pick against the spread. The Raiders are coming off 2 losses by 16 and 19 points in their last 2 games with O’Connell under center.

Now they’ll face a Rams team that’s fresh off a bye and could have Kupp back in the mix. Only adding to the adversity is the absence of Raiders WR Davante Adams following his trade to the Jets and the likely absence of Meyers due to injury.

BET RAMS -7 (-110).

Over/Under

Neither of these offenses is particularly efficient. The Rams have moved the ball decently well between the 20s, but when they get to the red zone, they’ve only scored touchdowns 45% of the time – 24th in the NFL. That should make this a lower-scoring Game, especially with Las Vegas missing its top 2 receivers.

As long as there aren’t too many big plays or turnovers by the offense deep in their own territory, this Game should lack points a bit.

BET UNDER 43.5 (-110).
