Kristin Chenoweth revealed she was “severely abused” by an unnamed ex.

The Broadway icon got candid about her past while reacting to the disturbing resurfaced video of Sean “Diddy” Combs attacking ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in the hallway of a hotel in 2016.

“Honestly I have my reasons for the Sean Combs video bothering me so much,” she wrote via X Saturday. “The main thing I need to do is pray for him. For real.”

After Chenoweth, 55, was immediately met with critics urging her to pray for the victims rather than the “evil abusers,” she then decided to share her own experience.

“Never wanted to come out with it, but here we go,” the actress wrote in a follow-up post. “Several years ago I was severely abused. It took me therapy and prayer to understand I deserved better.

“I was deeply injured physically and spiritually. The only thing I knew to do when I got out was pray. Pray for myself. Pray for him as he grew up abused. So. There y’all go.”

In another post, the “Pushing Daisies” star admitted it was “the lowest” she’s ever been in life, adding, ”I must admit I haven’t forgiven yet. It’s beyond me. God is helping me through that part.”

Chenoweth furthered that victims must handle their abuse in a way that’s “best for them,” explaining to fans that she hopes her story “helped someone.”

The “RV” star is currently married to singer Josh Bryant, who is 14 years her junior. They tied the knot in Texas in September 2023.

Chenoweth was formerly engaged to “Unsane” star Marc Kudisch from 1998 to 2001 and had previous relationships with Lane Garrison, Seth Green, Aaron Sorkin and Dana Brunetti. She did not reveal the identity of her alleged abuser.

The “Wicked” singer’s harrowing revelation came after CNN published surveillance footage showing Combs, 54, beating Ventura, 37, in the hallway of the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Calif., back in 2016.

The clip showed the “I’ll Be Missing You” crooner kicking his ex-girlfriend several times and dragging her on the floor.

The footage aligned with the allegations Ventura made against Combs in her November 2023 lawsuit, in which she accused him of rape, abuse and more.

While the rapper and his lawyers vehemently denied the allegations against him for years, Combs finally took “full responsibility” for his actions in an apology video posted just days after the footage resurfaced.

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that,” he said in part in a clip posted to Instagram Sunday. “I was f—ked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses.”

He added, “My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted.”

Combs echoed his disgust, claiming he “sought out professional help” and “started going to therapy and rehab” following the incident.

While the “Coming Home” rapper didn’t mention Ventura’s name in his video, he concluded that he’s “not asking for forgiveness” but is “truly sorry.”

The former couple was in an on and off relationship from 2007 to 2018.
