The Ohio Bobcats and the Kent State Golden Flashes meet Wednesday in college Football action from Dix Stadium. Here’s a Kent State vs Ohio prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Kent State vs Ohio pick.

Ohio Bobcats Betting Preview

The Bobcats got off to a 4-2 run over their first six Games this year, falling to Kentucky and Syracuse with wins over South Alabama, Morgan State, Akron and Central Michigan otherwise. Since then it’s been a loss to Miami-OH and a win over Buffalo.

In the Buffalo Game back on October 26, the Bobcats put up points in every quarter along the way to a dominant win 47-16. Parker Navarro logged 231 pass yards with two scores and a pick. Rickey Hunt led the rush with nine carries for 89 yards and a score.

Kent State Golden Flashes Betting Preview

Over on the Kent State side, they haven’t had any luck in the win column so far this year. The Golden Flashes have lost to Pittsburgh, St. Francis PA, Tennessee, Penn State, Eastern Michigan, Ball State, Bowling Green and Western Michigan in succession.

Matched up against Western Michigan, the Golden Flashes were drilled 38-7 in the first half and limped to a 52-21 loss. Tommy Ulatowski threw for 114 yards, three TDs and two interceptions. Tops in receiving was Luke Florea with 43 yards and a score off three grabs.

Kent State vs Ohio Prediction

I’m going to stay with Ohio. The Bobcats took a pretty easy win over Buffalo in their last outing, notching 489 total yards (258 rushing), 8.2 yards per play and a nice 7-of-12 on third-down tries. The Ohio defense had a couple of takeaways and held the Bulls to just 16 points. It was a much-needed bounce-back after a bad loss to Miami-OH.

As for Kent State, they’re flailing this year and coming off another rough blowout defeat. The Flashes gave up 579 total yards (358 rushing), 9.5 yards per play and 23 first downs. On offense Kent State had four turnovers and went an abysmal 1-of-13 on third-down tries. This week is going to be another uphill battle.

Andrew's Free Pick: Ohio Bobcats -18.5
