My analysis
Luka Doncic was in the MVP conversation last season, and such will be the case again this year. The Slovenian is off to an impressive start through two Games, averaging 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per Game while shooting 37.5% from long range. 

While Doncic’s game is very well-rounded, it’s common knowledge that he loves to shoot the three. In fact, the 25-year-old is chucking up 12 triples per contest already. He was 5-for-13 from downtown in the opener against the Spurs before draining 4 of 11 in a loss to the Suns on Saturday.

In other words, Luka has hit the Over in this market in both of his outings so far. The Jazz are also allowing the most threes per Game of any team in the Association right now, with opponents draining 18.5 per contest. 

In four Games against Utah a season ago, the Mavs guard averaged 3.8 threes per night. Doncic is shooting the basketball extremely well, and I expect that to continue on his home court.

Walker Kessler has proven he'll be a key player for the Jazz for many years to come. The 7-footer is a force down low and makes his presence felt on the boards. He’s averaging 8.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks so far in his career. 

Through two games this season, he's dominated the glass, pulling down 14 rebounds against the Grizzlies before grabbing nine more against the Warriors. It doesn’t necessarily matter who's lining up at the five against him — Kessler will get rebounds. 

Dallas won three of four meetings with the Jazz last season, holding Utah to under 100 points on two occasions. Even in the other victory, the Jazz only scored 105 points. 

The Mavs are scoring 111 ppg, while Utah is allowing 126.5 per game and putting up just 105. The offense hasn’t really found itself yet. Dallas, on the other hand, has so many weapons outside of Luka, such as Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, and Dereck Lively. 

The Under hit in all but one matchup between these two teams last season, and I expect Jason Kidd’s squad to dominate offensively and keep the Jazz at bay.
