There is no doubt that Jadon Sancho is determined to leave Manchester United this summer, regardless of the potential departure of manager Erik ten Hag. The 24-year-old star has spent the last few months on loan at his former club Borussia Dortmund and has shown a significant improvement in form since rejoining the Bundesliga side.

Jadon Sancho has made it clear that he wants to stay at Dortmund and is pushing for a permanent move away from Old Trafford. Despite having a contract with United until 2026, Sancho’s desire to secure a move this summer could force the club’s hand in negotiations.

Sky Germany reports that formal talks between Dortmund and United are expected to take place soon, with the German club eager to secure Sancho on a permanent basis. The outcome of these discussions may also hinge on the future of current United manager Erik ten Hag, who has been under pressure for some time.

Should United decide to part ways with Ten Hag, there is a possibility that his successor may want to reintegrate Sancho into the squad. However, it is clear that the England international has no intention of returning to the Premier League club, regardless of who is in charge.

Jadon Sancho made a name for himself at Borussia Dortmund after joining the club from Manchester City in 2017. During his time in Germany, he made 137 appearances, scoring 50 goals, and was part of the team that won the DFB-Pokal in 2021.

After his successful spell at Dortmund, Sancho made a big-money move to Manchester United in 2021 for £73 million. However, his time at Old Trafford has not lived up to expectations, with the forward scoring just 12 goals in 82 Games over three seasons.

Despite his struggles at United, Sancho has reignited his career during his loan spell at Dortmund and is determined to make his stay permanent. It remains to be seen how negotiations between the two clubs will unfold and whether a deal can be reached for Sancho’s transfer.
