Instagram’s Notes will let you post short video updates
Instagram is launching a new feature update to Notes, which will let users post short video updates as Status. Launched a year ago, Notes would previously let its users post text or emojis as statuses.
The short video notes can be up to two seconds, displaying as a looping video status which will be visible to your followers or close friends for up to 24 hours. While the feature may be quite confusing with the current Stories feature, the short two-second video might not replace Stories and make room for itself.

Lasting only 24 hours, Notes video can only be captured with the front-facing camera and not be a picture uploaded from the Photo Library. Users can access the feature by going through their inbox and tapping on their photo to access the Notes tray. Viewers will be able to now respond to Notes using audio, photos, video, gifs and stickers, previously only limited to text.
