Instagram now limits posts and reels to close friends
Instagram updates its close friends feature which now allows users to put posts and reels in addition to the option of exclusive stories.
Close friends will have a green star next to their accounts. To opt for the new update, select the Audience option that appears when the user is about to share the post. Now hit Close Friends > Done, and share your post.
Only your close friends will see the photo, video, or reel you post, along with a green star icon indicating it was just shared with users on your list.
With the upgradation of the close friends feature, Instagram is trying to further improve the feeling of privacy of the platform.
