Image: Celtic Receive Special White House Invitation
As part of their pre-season preparations in the United States, Celtic players took some time to visit one of the most iconic landmarks in the world: the White House. The Scottish Champions, currently in Washington, D.C., have been immersing themselves in the local culture and sights as they gear up for the upcoming SPFL season.
The visit to the White House was highlighted by Luis Palma, who shared a photo of himself outside the historic building. The players, dressed in their Celtic gear, looked thrilled to be experiencing such an important piece of American History up close.
The trip to Washington is part of Celtic’s broader efforts to build team bonding and fitness ahead of a big season. While the focus remains on their training and preparation, the opportunity to explore the capital city and visit landmarks like the White House provides a valuable cultural experience and a welcome break from the rigours of pre-season.
You only get on the grounds of the famous building by special invite. Someone at the club has pulled some strings.
Most of this group also had the honour of meeting the Pope last season after playing Lazio in Rome. I doubt they’ll get a face to face with Joe Biden on their visit, but you never know, his code name is Celtic.
