How to scan documents with iPhone: Software engineer stuns internet with hidden feature in Notes app
A software engineer has stunned the internet with a hidden iPhone feature not everyone knew existed.
Abi Bouhmaida, from the UK, described the Apple’s Notes as the “most powerful app in the world” - but most people don’t know about the little-known hacks, including the scanning feature.
“Notes might just be the best free note-taking app you can use, provided you have an iPhone or a Mac (ideally both),” he said in an Instagram video.

“The app is packed full of features that many note-taking apps charge money for, so if you’re not yet using it you might want to give it a shot.
“Here’s a hack you might not know about.”
The tech expert says iPhone users can use the app to scan documents and save them as PDFs to their Notes.
