OK, so the majors in Golf are where you are going to find the biggest lure for players, both in terms of the stature of winning the title as well as the financial rewards that come with it. But don’t be fooled, there is very decent money at stake across the PGA season and few will be sticking up their noses at the prize money at this weekend’s 2024 Valspar Championship.

As well as delays and some weather challenges, we’ve also had some stunning Golf played at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course in Florida and Peter Malnati eventually came through to be pronounced the winner. Yes, the yellow ball man! So what prize did he get, and what about the rest of the field? Let’s take a look...

What’s the next PGA tournament?

As you’ve come to expect, the swings just keep on coming. Following the excitement here in Florida we’re heading off to Texas next for the Houston Open which takes place at the Memorial Park Gold Course (28-31 March) and has a prize pot of $9.1 million. After that it’s the Valero Texas Open at the TPC San Antonio (4-7 April, $9.2 million) and then we’re all nicely warmed up for the Masters at the Augusta National (11-14 April, $18 million).
