Luka Doncic and P.J. Washington were the standout players for the Dallas Mavericks bagging 29 points a-piece in leading the Texans to a 119-110 win over OKC Thunder on Thursday and in turn drawing the series level at 1-1 as the match-up heads to Dallas.

The Mavericks were in inspired form against the top seeded team in the Western Conference leaving Oklahoma City with limited options as they secured 18 3-pointers on the night, which was their highest total in the 2024 postseason.

There was however a moment of concern for Mavs fans during Game 2 as the Slovenian began to limp after a collision with Oklahoma City’s Cason Wallace.

Fortunately, Doncic was able to shake off the niggle and remained in the game helping to keep Dallas in control and stave off and any chances of a Thunder comeback.

“I was trying to focus on my balance,” Doncic said of his work after his Game 1 struggles. “My balance on shots wasn’t good. I think today was one of the hardest games I had to play. I’m battling out there, trying to get my team the win.”

Dallas will now fancy their chances of creating an upset in ousting the highly rated Thunder with the next two games set to take place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Saturday with Game 4 earmarked for Monday.

Watching the Game 3 action in Dallas

If you’re in the Texan capital on Saturday afternoon and fancy taking in some NBA Playoff action, the good news is that a handful tickets for the Game are still available but this being the postseason, they don’t come supercheap with Game 3 ticket prices starting from $150 for the cheapest seats via Ticketmaster.

No courtside tickets remain available, however for those fans on bigger budgets, seats three rows from the court are still available but at a price of $2,000.
