Holistic Beauty: Face Yoga Instructor Teaches Anti-Ageing Practices
Face yoga instructor Khan Linh explains how the practice can help slow the ageing process.
Face yoga and gua sha instructor, and advocate of Chinese medicine and qi gong, Khanh Linh embraces the wellness traditions of her family while guided by her father’s mentorship. A holistic practice that slows the ageing process without the use of chemicals, face yoga is a natural way to look and feel younger and Healthier, and release facial tension. The protocol integrates face yoga as a hygienic Lifestyle, using face massage, acupressure and breathing to induce a calm state.
One key benefit is increased facial blood circulation. Stress often restricts blood flow, depriving the skin and muscles of oxygen and nutrients. Face yoga stimulates the circulation for skin rejuvenation and muscle relaxation, reducing wrinkles from habitual expressions. Regular practise helps promote a radiant glow that boosts confidence.
What do you use to start your skincare routine?
I start by deeply cleansing my skin with the Benefit Porefessional purple clay mask, using it twice a week to purify and prepare my complexion.
What product do you use while doing your face-yoga exercise?
I apply nourishing Tatcha gold camellia face oil to hydrate and soothe my skin during my face-yoga practice.
What products do you recommend after completing the exercises?
After face yoga, I apply Givenchy Skin Perfecto vitamin blend glow serum to brighten and revitalise my complexion.
What products do you use to end your routine before sleep?
To complete my night-time routine, I use Dior Prestige Le Concentré Yeux eye cream to nourish and rejuvenate the delicate eye area before my beauty sleep.
Why did you start face yoga?
My father, who’s an expert in acupuncture and wellness, encouraged me to embrace our family’s holistic approach to Health and skincare after the passing of my mother. Together, we developed a face yoga practice called Sacred Happiness.
When is the best time to do face yoga?
I recommend integrating five to 10 minutes of daily face yoga whenever it fits best into your schedule, as both morning and evening practices offer benefits – morning to energise, and evening to relax the mind and body.
What quote do you live by?
My father often shares this wisdom: “True longevity lies not in the mere extension of years, but in the fullness
of each moment. Embrace the present with joy, serenity and a smile, for in these moments life truly blossoms.”
