Green Brigade Taunt Aberdeen With Hilarious Banner In 6-0 Demolition
The Celtic Ultras made sure that they would have the last laugh with a hilarious banner.
With Celtic strolling to an impressive 6-0 win, the Celtic fan group marked the occasion with a sensational banner aimed at the Aberdeen supporters.
Aberdeen even wore a Northern Lights-inspired kit last season to commemorate a Northern Lights display in Aberdeen.
The Green Brigade clearly saw the bright side of Aberdeen’s loss with a shoutout to the Dons supporters, who all season have chanted that they will win the league and even went as far as to mention Celtic in the same chant.
Jimmy Thelin’s side did go into the Game in superb form but got ahead of themselves with a 6-0 defeat in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final, they were well and truly humbled by the Hoops.
Aberdeen will need to bounce back from the defeat, but for Celtic, it is just another win as the Hoops will not get ahead of themselves with RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday.
A win on Guy Fawkes Night would put Celtic in a great position for Champions League Football post-January.
Given the anticipation for this evening’s Game, Celtic stepped up and put in arguably one of their best performances of the season against one of the best opposition they have faced.
