Green Brigade Confirm Details of Latest Annual Foodbank Collection

Celtic ultras group the Green Brigade have confirmed details of their latest annual foodbank collection.

Each year, the fanatics organize a classy collection of food, toiletries, household essentials, and cash for those who need it most in the lead-up to Christmas. It is a terrific gesture that reflects Celtic Football Club’s founding values.

This year, the group has confirmed that the collection will take place before the Hoops’ Game at home to Ross County in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday, November 30 – a fortnight from today.

The collection will begin at 1 pm and run until kick-off, which is at 3 pm.

There will be three different locations around the ground where supporters can make donations. The first is on the Celtic Way. Elsewhere, those arriving through the Gallowgate entrance can also support the most needy, along with fans who make their way to the stadium near section 111 at the north curve.

The group confirmed all the details of their latest collection on X.

While the Green Brigade are sometimes criticised, one cannot fault them for the terrific charity and community work they do.

Foodbank collections and the like are a true reflection of the Celtic faNBAse and the values by which the club was founded over 135 years ago.
