Ahead of the Week 11 Game between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers, former Ravens linebacker Bart Scott fired some shots at Steelers linebacker Patrick Queen over his leaving Baltimore for Pittsburgh.

Scott went as far as to call Queen a “Judas” because of the move, and basically said he didn’t respect the Steelers linebacker because of it. He also offered a warning to Queen that he was “going to learn” on Sunday.

“Even though we hate the Steelers, we respect them, and we’ll never admit that out loud,” Scott said. “But every once in a while, you get a Judas. And the Judas is Patrick Queen. He went over to the dark side.

“He’s going to learn. He’s gonna mess around and find out.”

During the week, Queen revealed that the Ravens didn’t want him back before he ultimately signed a big contract with the Steelers.

“I wasn’t wanted back,” he said. “I didn’t get an offer back. It’s definitely kind of upsetting, being there for four years, the bond that you grow with your teaMMAtes. At the end of the day, the first few months, you definitely go through those feelings. Now, after playing Games, you just go by, you just want to win Games. You want to win with your teaMMAtes, your new teaMMAtes. You want to bond with those guys. Everything you do is for the organization that you’re in now. Like I said, I will have feelings obviously, anyone in my position would this week. Just take it one day at a time and whatever happens, happens.”

Queen got the last laugh on Sunday when his Steelers beat the Ravens, 18-16, at Acrisure Stadium. Queen played a big role in the win, notching a team-high 10 tackles, including one for loss, and a forced and recovered fumble.

After the Game, Queen made sure to call Scott out for his comments and even called him “boy.”

Queen’s Steelers career got off to a rough start, but he has been rounding into form in recent weeks and is becoming exactly what the Steelers expected when they signed him.

As head coach Mike Tomlin so aptly put it after the Game: “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”
