Google Search records its highest traffic ever
Google CEO Sundar Pichai tweeted that Google Search reached a milestone by getting the highest traffic ever during the FIFA World Cup 2022 Final in its 25-year History.
The platform became a source of information for the World Cup, especially for the final match which is reported to be the most-watched final ever.
To capture the maximum number of audience for its search engine, Google designed a dedicated section for the updates that appeared upon searching "World Cup". The section also allowed users to turn on the notifications for all the matches or for specific ones.
