by John Cardullo, Sportswriter
A golf tournament will be held on Monday, July 17th at Agawam Hunt Historic 1897 Golf Course in Rumford, Rhode Island.
The tournament is in memory of the class of ’64 La Salle Academy classmate, Colonel Gerry Dillon, for his service to his country and fellow man.
Funds raised will be contributed in Colonel Dillon’s name to OSDRI, a Veterans program that services veterans in Rhode Island.
The tournament is $130 per person – lunch only is $40. It’s an 18-hole scramble, best ball foursome.
The 9am shotgun tournament includes golf, carts, mixed grille lunch, raffle and prizes.
