Free McDonald’s french fries promo: What needs to happen in the Mets game to get free fries?
Fans of the New York Mets are still celebrating their team’s win against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday, but they have a reason to cheer even harder during the Game on Wednesday.
New Yorkers have a chance to get their hands on free french fries from McDonald’s as a result of this game. For this to happen, the Mets need to score at least five home runs.
If this comes to pass, diners can celebrate with a free order of medium fries bought the following day. All you need to do is place a minimum purchase of $1 on the McDonald’s app, so if you haven’t downloaded it yet, now is the perfect time to do so.

However, fries are not the only freebies on the line. If the Mets score five runs during the Game, everyone also gets a chance to receive a free small frozen Coca-Cola or frozen Fanta with a minimum purchase of $1. You can claim the freebie through the McDonald’s app the following day.
