Former US senator and vice-presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman, whose campaign towards violent videoGames within the early ’90s sparked the creation of the Leisure Software program Ranking Board, has died at age 82.

A press release launched by Lieberman’s household (by way of Politico) mentioned Lieberman’s demise was the results of “problems from a fall.”
