Florida State came into the 2024 college Football season with lofty aspirations. Nobody thought they would win a National Championship, per se, but some level of respectability was expected.

Through two games – the Seminoles have looked awful. Not only did they lose to Georgia Tech in the opener, but they also got blown out by 14 points in Week 2 against Boston College.

Now there are rumors that Mike Norvell might be on the outs. It has been the biggest story of the weekend in college Football aside from that one female Alabama fan who decided to perform a lewd gesture midGame. The only thing keeping Norvell in his current position is his hefty buyout contract structure. It looks like this:

  • After 2027 Season: $43,300,000
  • After 2028 Season: $32,700,000

While things have been going objectively poorly for Florida State on the field, things seem to be progressing decently for them off it. The Seminoles have undeniably the best and most attractive fan base in college Football.
