In direct contrast to the Detroit Tigers, the San Diego Padres have been playing rather good baseball recently. The Padres have won four of the team’s last five Games played this season, including a 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays four days ago.

It should be noted that the San Diego Padres defeated the Detroit Tigers 6-5 in last night’s second Game of this three Game interleague series.
