A Charlotte, North Carolina restaurant and bar — that is known for poking fun at local Sports teams — is turning its attention to Taylor Swift ahead of a major NFL Game.
Before the Carolina Panthers take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, November 24, Dilworth Neighborhood Grille decided to change their sign along East Morehead Street.
“Taylor Swift, don’t shake this Game off,” the restaurant’s sign stated via WBTV. “KC might lose.”
Not only do the words refer to Swift’s hit single “Shake It Off,” but the sign shows some hometown favoritism for the Panthers.
The Carolina team is currently on its first winning streak since 2022 after beating the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants. As for the Chiefs, they experienced their first loss of the season after failing to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, November 17.
Swift — who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — was a no-show at the losing Game, likely because the Grammy winner performed her third Eras Tour concert in Toronto the previous evening.
It’s unclear if Swift, 34, will make this weekend’s game after she performs another Toronto show on Saturday, November 23.

This isn’t the first time Dilworth Neighborhood Grille has made news with its signs. Before the 2024 NFL Draft took place in April, the restaurant took a shot at Panthers owner David Tepper by asking the billionaire to “let the coach and GM pick this year.” WBTV later reported that Tepper, 67, visited the restaurant to support the establishment.
Football aside, Swift and Kelce, 35, are no stranger to busy schedules ever since they started dating in the summer of 2023.
At the same time, fans are hoping the couple will be able to spend some quality time together ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
A source told Us Weekly in September that “Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future” and there have been several hints to suggest that they will indeed spend Turkey Day together.

Fans are also looking forward to December 13 when Swift will celebrate her 35th birthday and the end of her Eras Tour.
“Taylor has expressed how excited she is to settle down after her tour concludes. They’re on the same page,” the source said. “Taylor is ready for the next era of her life. She knows it will be special.”
