At one point, even Taehuyng aka BTS V joined their adventure, making it a complete maknae line trip. If the camaraderie of the BTS boys has inspired you to take a trip with your friends, here’s a complete breakdown of the prominent filming locations the Tannies explored in the show Are You Sure?!
The Chapter 2 releases of BTS are sure keeping fans fed in all categories. With new albums, variety shows, and impromptu photo uploads, the idols are constantly at their best when it comes to giving their ARMYs (devoted BTS fans) what they want. This Travel program showcased the BTS members‘ unbreakable connections, as well as their customary light-hearted banter, humour, and undying support for one another. The show takes us back to July 14, 2023. After his spectacular performance on Good Morning America, Jungkook takes a quick trip to Connecticut with Jimin. Groupmate V later joined the Busan boys as a special visitor, and the three chaotic youngest members Travelled to Jeju Island in South Korea on September 26 2024. Last but not least, the boys found themselves in Sapporo, Japan, marking their final destination in the eight-episode documentary series. Here is a list of all the places we see them visit in the show.
Filming locations for episodes 1 and 2 of BTS Jimin and Jungkook’s Are You Sure?!
Brennan’s by the Beach — Connecticut, USA
After JK’s GMA performance, Jimin and JK drove to Connecticut from New York City. Upon realising they were both hungry, they made their first stop at Brennan’s by the Beach. Located in Stamford, the restaurant offers a wide range of soups, salads, and seafood as well as burgers and sandwiches. They also serve a variety of cocktails to pair with their food.
At the eatery, Jimin and ordered a Black Blue Burger, a California Burger, and a steak sandwich. And from the footage, it’s safe to say Jimin didn’t enjoy the taste of blue cheese.
Dick’s Sporting Goods, Connecticut Post Mall — Connecticut, USA
Next, the duo went to Dick’s Sporting Goods at the Connecticut Post Mall to find outfits for their trip. The two evidently enjoyed their shopping trip, and even met some ARMYs who instantly recognised them both.
The DICK’S Sporting Goods in Milford CT is a one-stop destination for all things sporty. The store carries a wide range of Sportswear, Sports equipment, camping gear, bikes, and kayaks for sale. You can also find replica jerseys and officially licensed merchandise from your favourite sport in the fan shop section of the store.
High Nine Brewing — Connecticut, USA
The next filming location for BTS Jimin and Jungkook’s Are You Sure?! was High Nine Brewing in Deep River, Connecticut, which boasts a relaxed ambience and vibe. The boys tasted the samples of plisner, craft hard seltzer, and mango haze. Jimin settled for a tall glass of light beer, while JK chose a fruity one.
While sipping and enjoying his cocktails, JK began talking about how he wanted to make his own whiskey at home. He then shared that Jin has also acquired a permit to produce makgeolli.
Black Hall Outfitters, Old Lyme — Connecticut, USA
Remember when JM and JK went kayaking and Jungkook’s boat toppled over? The incident, which left Jungkook in the river and Jimin laughing like a good best friend, has to be one of the best and most hilarious moments of the show. Adding onto the hilarity of the scene was Jungkook’s biggest concern upon exiting the river: whether his phone was okay.
To recap: after drinking at High Nine Brewing, the Busan boys went kayaking at Black Hall Outfitters in Old Lyme for some exercise, relaxation, beautiful scenery, and Jungkook‘s historic dip. They appreciated the ride and the tranquillity of nature. After the ride, they changed into Black Hall Outfitters t-shirts, which have become must-have items for ARMYs throughout the world. The company has now designed a BTS-themed t-shirt for fans and is delivering them internationally via a third-party vendor. Ten percent of the proceeds from the shirt sales will be donated to UNICEF, with whom BTS began collaborating in 2017 to raise funds to combat violence against youngsters.
Other than kayaking, the location also offers paddleboards and canoe rides. You can also go fishing and some apparel is available for sale.
Bushy Hill Nature Preserve — Connecticut, USA
The next day, the two bandmates went hiking in Bushy Hill Nature Preserve. Located in Essex, the Bushy Hill Nature Preserve is managed by the Essex Conservation Commission. Despite Jimin getting mosquito bites (which they blamed on his delicious blood instead of his black clothes), both idols loved the greenery and their walk together.
Cedar Island, Clinton — Connecticut, USA
After their hiking trip, the K-pop idols took a relaxing yacht ride and had a meal on the boat while Travelling from Connecticut to Cedar Island.
Walmart — Connecticut, USA
While returning from their yacht ride to their accommodation, the boys made a quick stop at a Walmart in CT to pick up some essentials.
The next morning, they returned to the supermarket to find a dish-washing sponge, with the outing turning out to be another food trip.
