Eidul Azha 2024: Celebrities extend their warmest wishes to fans, followers and loved ones
After weeks of spotting folks parading their qurbani goats, cows, and the occasional camel, and meticulously planning meat-laden Eidul Azha feasts, the big day has finally arrived! As early as last night, social media lit up with “Chaand Raat Mubarak” wishes from friends and loved ones. Among these well-wishers were Pakistani and Bollywood celebrities alike, flooding timelines with messages brimming with love.
A few of the first people to extend their Eid wishes were Armeena Khan, Rabia Butt, and Zara Noor Abbas, who took to their Instagram stories to wish their fans and followers. Shaista Lodhi also shared an image of herself clad in all white as she wished her followers. Part of a star-studded affair, actor Kinza Hashmi conveyed her Eid wishes in the form of an Instagram Reel of her Chaand Raat plans: a festive dinner that included the who’s who of Pakistani entertainment. The reel featured the actor mingling with her friends which included stars Bilal Ashraf and Adnan Siddiqui.
Actor and television show host, Sanam Jung wished her followers a happy Eid from America in a series of pictures with her family captioned, “Wishing you all a very happy Eid all around the world.” Another Celebrity that made their Eid wishes a family affair was actor and model Aamna Ilyas, who posed with her two children in matching white outfits. Nadia Hussain wished followers through a selfie from the plane as she was en-route to Dubai to celebrate Eidul Azha.
Saba Qamar shared a picture of a cluster of gorgeous bouquets on her Instagram Story and captioned it, “May this Eid bring peace, prosperity, and love to your life and the lives of those around you.” Mawra Hocane, compiled a series of pictures and videos of herself in a stunning baby pink outfit with her goats in an Instagram Reel. “8 a.m on Eid morning with my angels,” she wrote.
Other celebrities who took to social media to convey their Eid wishes included, Shahroz Sabzwari, Ayesha Omar, Kubra Khan, Imran Abbas, Natasha Noorani, Anoushey Ashraf and Aiman Khan, who posted on their Instagram Stories.
From across the border, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Sidharth Malhotra, Nora Fatehi and Malaika Arora were a few of the Bollywood celebrities that wished their fans a happy Eidul Azha.
