Due to Jenny Shin’s impressive ninth-place finish at the 2024 ShopRite LPGA Classic I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the tournament to see how Shin fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of comPetitive play at the 2024 ShopRite LPGA Classic, in relation to the field, Jenny Shin ranked eighth in driving distance (272.1 yards), third in strokes gained approach (2.060), and 14th in strokes gained tee to green (1.863).

Hye Jin Choi $7,800

The talented South Korean arrives at this week’s event on the heels of three consecutive top 20 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including an impressive seventh place result at last week’s 2024 Amundi Evian Championship.

Hye Jin Choi also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Choi is currently ranked 12th in GIR (greens in regulation-71.39%), tenth in total birdies made (208), and 21st in total rounds under par (26).

Additionally, Choi finished 11th at the 2023 Women’s Scottish Open.

Ashleigh Buhai $7,400

Ashleigh Buhai has accumulated three top 21 finishes in her last seven tournaments played on the LPGA Tour, including a 12th place finish at the 2024 ShopRite LPGA Classic in June.
