This Sunday morning, Draftkings golf fans will be presented with the final round of the 2024 Travelers Championship. Let’s take a look at the final round of this event from a DFS perspective.

Before I discuss my Draftkings player selections, let’s review where the final round of the 2024 Travelers Championship will be played.

The final round of the 2024 Travelers Championship will be played at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. The Golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 6,835 yards.

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Here are my DraftKings player selections for the final round of the 2024 Travelers Championship.

Scottie Scheffler $12,500

Since the beginning of March, Scottie Scheffler has played nine tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those nine events just mentioned, Scheffler has accumulated eight top ten finishes, including an impressive five wins (2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational: 2024 Players Championship: 2024 Masters Tournament: 2024 RBC Heritage: 2024 Memorial Tournament).

I think it’s fair to say that Scottie Scheffler has been playing well from a key player statistics perspective. Let me be more specific. In relation to this week’s 2024 Travelers Championship field, in the last 36 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Scottie Scheffler ranks first in GIR (greens in regulation), first in strokes gained tee to green, first in strokes gained approach, first in strokes gained off the tee, first in bogey avoidance, and first in birdie or better percentage.

Scottie Scheffler has played well at the Travelers Championship previously. Scheffler finished fourth at the 2023 Travelers Championship.

Upon the completion of this afternoon’s third round at the 2024 Travelers Championship, Scottie Scheffler is in a tie for second place with a cumulative three round score of 17 under par.

Sungjae Im $8,200

Sungjae Im has accumulated three top nine finishes in his last five events played on the PGA Tour, including an eighth-place finish at the 2024 Memorial Tournament two weeks ago.

Additionally, Sungjae Im finished 21st at the 2019 Travelers Championship.

Tony Finau $9,700

The talented American has accumulated five top 18 finishes in his last seven tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a second-place result at the 2024 Texas Children’s Houston Open in April.

In relation to this week’s 2024 Travelers Championship, in the last 50 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Tony Finau ranks 15th in birdie or better percentage, third in strokes gained approach, seventh in GIR (greens in regulation), 12th in strokes gained tee to green, fifth in strokes gained ball striking, fifth in strokes gained around the green, and 12th in strokes gained on par fives.

Similar to Scottie Scheffler and Sungjae Im, Finau has played well at the Travelers Championship in the past. Finau finished 13th at the 2024 Travelers Championship.
