This week, the DP World Tour returns to the golf schedule with the 2024 Danish Golf Championship. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a Draftkings perspective.

2024 Danish Golf Championship Draftkings Picks

Bernd Wiesberger $10,700

The talented Austrian has accumulated seven top 24 finishes in his last nine events played (PGA and DP World  Tours combined), including a 16th place result at the 2024 BMW International Open last month.

Bernd Wiesberger certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Wiesberger is currently ranked third in GIR (greens in regulation-72.44%), seventh in overall scoring average (69.62), second in bogey avoidance (2.08), fourth in par four scoring average (3.95), fifth in strokes gained approach (0.96) and third in strokes gained tee to green (1.93) on the DP World Tour.

It is noteworthy that Bernd Wiesberger has played well at this week’s DP World Tour event multiple times over the course of his career. More specifically, Wiesberger won the Danish Golf Championship in 2019 and 2021.

Paul Waring $8,600

Paul Waring arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of two consecutive top 21 finishes (PGA and DP World Tours combined), including a sixth place result at last week’s 2024 Czech Masters.

Similar to Bernd Wiesberger, Paul Waring is playing some quality Golf from a statistical perspective. Paul Waring is currently ranked fifth in bogey avoidance (2.30), seventh in par four scoring average (3.96), 16th in scrambling (63.95%), and eighth in total birdies made per round (4.35) on the DP World Tour.

Sam Bairstow $9,500

Since the beginning of March, Sam Bairstow has played 12 tournaments (PGA and DP World Tours combined). In those 12 events just mentioned, Sam Bairstow has accumulated seven top 23 finishes, including a sixth-place result at the 2024 ISCO Championship last month.

Adrien Saddier $8,500

Adrien Saddier has accumulated two top 18 finishes in his three events played (PGA and DP World Tours combined), including a third place result at the 2024 Czech Masters.

Due to Adrien Saddier’s quality finish at last week’s 2024 Czech Masters I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the tournament to see how Saddier fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2024 Czech Masters, in relation to the field, Adrien Saddier ranked 11th in strokes gained tee to green (2.03), fourth in GIR (greens in regulation-84.72%), and 14th in par three scoring average (2.88).
