Jake Maier, Quarterback, Calgary Stampeders $9,800

In the 18 Games that quarterback Jake Maier played for the Calgary Stampeders in the 2023 CFL regular season, Maier averaged a respectable 235.8 passing yards and 1.1 passing touchdowns a Game. It is noteworthy that Jake Maier was the only quarterback in the CFL to start all 18 regular season Games in 2023.

Now that we have established how well Calgary Stampeders quarterback Jake Maier played last season, let’s shift our focus to how the veteran Calgary Stampeders signal caller is playing in 2024.

Through eight games played in the 2024 CFL regular season, Calgary Stampeders starting quarterback Jake Maier has averaged 247.8 passing yards and 1.6 passing touchdowns a game.

It should be noted that these two CFL teams played last week. Who prevailed? Last week, the Calgary Stampeders defeated the Toronto Argonauts 27-23. In the Stampeders win last week, Calgary quarterback Jake Maier accumulated 287 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. Clearly, Maier is playing at a high level entering this week’s rematch with the Toronto Argonauts.

Reggie Begelton, Calgary Stampeders, $8,000

How important has Calgary wide receiver Reggie Begelton been to the Calgary Stampeders offense this season? In the seven games that Calgary wide receiver Reggie Begelton has played for the Stampeders in the 2024 CFL regular season, Calgary quarterback Jake Maier has targeted Begelton a whopping 54 times. In those 54 targets just mentioned, Begelton has accumulated 38 receptions, 373 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns. It has to be said, those are the type of DFS numbers I need to see from players that I select for my CFL Draftkings lineups.

More recently, in the Stampeders victory over the Argonauts last week, Calgary wide receiver Reggie Begelton played exceptionally well. More specifically, Begelton tallied eight receptions and 97 receiving yards in the Stampeders win over Toronto. I fully expect Reggie Begelton to continue playing quality Football in this week’s matchup with the Argonauts.

Marken Michel, Wide Receiver, Calgary Stampeders $8,500

In addition to Reggie Begelton, Marken Michel has been an essential part of the Calgary Stampeders offense in the 2024 CFL regular season. Let’s review Michel’s recent Game data to better shed light on my previous statement.

Through eight Games played for the Calgary Stampeders this season, Stampeders wide receiver Marken Michel has accumulated a robust 36 receptions, 377 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns.
