Edmonton Elks wide receiver Kurleigh Gittens Jr. has been an essential part of the team’s success on the offensive side of the football this season. Having stated that, how has Gittens Jr. been playing from a statistical perspective?

Through eight Games played for the Edmonton Elks in the 2024 CFL regular season, Edmonton Elks wide receiver Kurleigh Gittens Jr. has accumulated a robust 44 receptions, 360 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns.

It is noteworthy that these two teams played earlier this season. Which team prevailed? In the BC Lions 24-21 win over the Edmonton Elks six weeks ago, talented Elks wide receiver Kurleigh Gittens Jr. played rather well. More specifically, Gittens Jr. accumulated a respectable five receptions, 56 receiving yards, and one touchdown in the Lions victory over the Edmonton Elks.

Tre Ford, Quarterback, Edmonton Elks $11,200

In the last two games that Edmonton quarterback Tre Ford has played for the Edmonton Elks this season, Ford has accumulated an impressive 377 passing yards, five passing touchdowns, and 68 rushing yards.

Looking closer at the data just presented, in the last two contests that Edmonton signal caller Tre Ford has played in the 2024 CFL regular season, Ford has averaged 22.2 Draftkings points a game. It has to be said, those are some outstanding fantasy numbers.

I just don’t see a scenario where Edmonton’s Tre Ford fails in this game. For that specific reason, I am backing Tre Ford as a flex play for this one game CFL DFS slate.

Tevin Jones, Wide Receiver, Edmonton Elks $5,600

In last week’s Edmonton Elks 42-31 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders, wide receiver Tevin Jones had a breakout performance. Let me be more specific. In the Elks victory over the Roughriders just mentioned, Saskatchewan wide receiver Tevin Jones tallied three receptions and 123 receiving yards.

In my opinion, Edmonton wide receiver Tevin Jones presents the best fantasy value of any player on this one game CFL DFS slate at the low affordable Draftkings price of only $5,600.

Edmonton Elks, Defense, $4,400

For those readers that are not aware, talented BC Lions signal caller Vernon Adams Jr. has been ruled out for this this Sunday’s matchup with the Elks. In my opinion, the loss of quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. will bring instability to the BC Lions offense. That instability should provide an opportunistic environment for turnovers to the Edmonton Elks defense. I think this Edmonton Elks defense has a real opportunity to break this one game slate.
