Where will the 2024 Barracuda Championship be played?

The 2024 Barracuda Championship will be played at the Tahoe Mountain Club (Old Greenwood Course) in Truckee, California. The golf course is a par 71 that measures approximately 7,480 yards.

Will the Barracuda Championship have a traditional cut after two rounds?

The 2024 Open Championship will have a field of 156 players to start the tournament on Thursday. Upon the completion of two rounds, a cut will occur. The top 65 golfers (including ties) will make the cut.

2024 Barracuda Championship Draftkings DFS Picks

Adam Svensson $8,900

Four weeks ago, Adam Svensson fired a second round 64 at the 2024 Travelers Championship en route to an eventual 16th place finish.

It should be noted that Adam Svensson has a decent career record playing comPetitive Golf in the state of California. That can clearly be seen in Svensson’s impressive tenth place result at the 2024 Genesis Invitational earlier this year. The Genesis Invitational is a signature event with a stacked field of talent. Conversely, the Barracuda Championship has a far weaker field of talent. I like Svensson’s chances this week.

J.J. Spaun $9,000

The talented American arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of two top 23 finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including a tenth-place result at the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic two weeks ago.

J.J. Spaun certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. In relation to this week’s 2024 Barracuda Championship field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, J.J. Spaun ranks second in birdie or better percentage, 14th in strokes gained putting, and sixth in strokes gained approach.

Hayden Springer $7,700

Hayden Springer has accumulated two top ten finishes in his last three events played on the PGA Tour, including a seventh-place finish at the 2024 John Deere Classic.

Due to Hayden Springer’s quality finish at the 2024 John Deere Classic I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the tournament to see how Springer fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of comPetitive play at the 2024 John Deere Classic, in relation to the field, Hayden Springer ranked 14th in driving distance (313.1 yards), fifth in strokes gained tee to green (2.109), fourth in strokes gained off the tee (1.147).

Hayden Springer fired a second round 59 at the 2024 John Deere Classic. It was only the 13th time in the History of the PGA Tour that a score of 59 or less has been posted by a Golfer in a single round.
