Amgen Sponsors Science Day at Providence Children’s Museum for an Exciting Exploration of Science

Providence Children’s Museum is thrilled to announce an exciting Science Day sponsored by Amgen, one of the world’s leading bioTechnology companies. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 30, 2024, because from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and then again from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, the museum at 100 South Street will transform into a Science extravaganza!

Prepare for an adventure-packed day where kids can dive into the fascinating world of science! Amgen’s partnership with PCM means real scientific gear will be at your fingertips, igniting curiosity and a passion for all things science. Be prepared to witness the magic as Amgen volunteers turn visitors into mini scientists, complete with microscopes, pipettes, and spectrometers in hand. It’s like a real-life science movie, but better because you’re the star!

Caroline Payson, Providence Children’s Museum’s Executive Director, exclaimed, “We’re over the moon to keep this awesome tradition alive with Amgen. Every year, they bring the sparkle of Science to our visitors. Thanks to their generous and continued support, kids get to dabble in hands-on experiments, unleashing their curiosity and nurturing their love for STEM, not just today, but throughout the year!”

The fun doesn’t end there! Amgen’s representatives will be on-site, ready to chat with curious minds about all things science and biotech. And guess what? You get all this without any extra cost beyond regular museum admission! Families are encouraged to pre-register online to secure their spot for this popular event.
