The Cleveland Guardians and the Detroit Tigers meet Monday in MLB action from Comerica Park. Here’s a Detroit Tigers vs Cleveland Guardians prediction. This will be the first installment in a four-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for the Game.

Over the weekend, the Guardians took on the San Francisco Giants. Cleveland lost 4-2 in the Friday opener, but then came back for a 5-4 win in Game two. In the Sunday rubber match, the Guardians eked out a 5-4 victory. Starter Carlos Carrasco finished with 5.0 innings and three earned runs.
For the starter gig in the Monday Game the Guardians will send out Gavin Williams. In his lone start this year Williams went 4.0 innings in a loss. Williams is 3-6 with a 3.66 career ERA in 17 starts.

As starter for Monday’s matchup the Tigers will go with Keider Montero. This year in the first three Games (two starts) of his career Montero is 1-2 with a 6.0 ERA.

Detroit Tigers vs Cleveland Guardians Prediction
I might take a stab on the Tigers. Probably staying away, though. It’ll be interesting to see what Williams can do in his second start of the season regardless, though. On July 3 versus the White Sox, Williams took a loss in his debut with 4.0 innings, five earned, seven hits and two walks with two Ks.
On Sunday the Tigers put together a nice offensive performance on 12 team hits. Zach McKinstry came away with three RBI, two hits and a homer, while Gio Urshela had three hits with a run. If Detroit can keep the bats hot they’ll be in good shape Monday. It’ll depend somewhat on how the starters do, though.
