They Weathered their relationship for as long as they could.

Creed frontman Scott Stapp and his beauty queen wife, Jaclyn, are divorcing after 18 years of marriage as the band is set to reunite on tour for the first time in over a decade.

“Out of respect for their family, Scott intends to navigate this difficult time privately,” a rep for Stapp told People.

The split was years in the making after Jaclyn originally filed for divorce against the rocker in June 2022, according to court records viewed by Page Six.

Jaclyn’s filing was soon withdrawn but the rocker followed suit in May 2023.

“Scott and Jaclyn had determined the marriage was over but continued to try to make it work,” a source told the outlet.

TMZ was the first to report the split.

The couple share three children, daughter Mia, 17, and sons Daniel, 13, and Anthony, 6.

The rocker also has a son, Jagger, 25, with his first wife Hilaree Burns.

The rep added that the couple’s children are the priority as the pair proceed through the divorce process.

Jaclyn had “faced a long battle in her relationship with Scott and, despite never envisioning divorcing him one day, she’s decided to move on,” a rep for the model told the outlet.

Stapp, 50, and Jaclyn, 43, first met in 2006 at a gala for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in New York, they married later that year.

The “One Last Breath” singer recently shared how his wife and kids helped him learn what a family is following a difficult childhood.

“I never had a family like this. They’ve really demonstrated to me what a family is all about, and having each other’s backs and sticking together,” Stapp told People in March. “It’s definitely something that’s rubbed off on me and that I’ve learned from, and hopefully we’ll be able to carry that forward in my life no matter how the story unfolds.”

Stapp went on to share how the ups and downs in his relationships have given him a new perspective on life.

“Relationships teach you a lot of things, good and bad, and I’ve learned that no matter how they resolve or how they continue, that each stage in each season of the relationship is most definitely a learning experience,” he said. “You have to look back at it as such, no matter what, and you have to reframe it. Reframing it no matter what the circumstance is precipitates growth and helps you become a better human being and a better partner.”

In 2015, Stapp was diagnosed with bipolar disorder after abusing prescription drugs, alcohol and marijuana.

“I had a psychotic break,” Stapp told People. “I had delusions. I thought an angel was sitting on the hood of my car. I grew a beard to look like Jesus. I made threats that had the Secret Service coming to my door. My behavior became dangerous.”

Jaclyn recognized her husband’s need for help. “I was watching him die a slow, painful, public death,” she said. “And I was terrified.”
