The college basketball season is in full swing and I’ve been in good form with this best bets column of late. After a 3-0 weekend on the hardwood, we’re heading into the final few weeks of the season on a positive note, much like many of the top teams across the country. Let’s keep the momentum going!

While the college hoops market is as sharp as its ever been, there are still a few good value bets of which to take advantage of. Let’s take a look at my best bets for these Games on Tuesday, but make sure you also check out our College Basketball picks for the biggest Games of the day.

Colorado State Rams -4.5 over Nevada Wolf Pack (-110)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing. Playable to Colorado State -5.5

These are a pair of teams that I’ve enjoyed betting on all season long, but I’ll be going back to the well in this particular Game by backing a Colorado State team that is in a desperate spot at home. This exact situation has been extremely profitable throughout Mountain West conference play, and I see no reason to veer away from it now as the regular season nears its conclusion. For starters, the Rams are coming off back-to-back demoralizing road losses last week, dropping Games at New Mexico and UNLV by a combined 8 points. It goes without saying that Niko Medved’s group could really use a win to stabilize their NCAA Tournament seeding and stop the bleeding from this recent losing skid. It’s also a revenge spot for Colorado State against a Nevada team that is playing exceptional basketball in the month of February.

The Wolf Pack have won 6 of their last 7, including three straight on the road, so I’m expecting some regression in Fort Collins on Tuesday. Even putting that aside, I also think we’re getting to back the better team at a bit of a discount given how well Colorado State has played at home this season. The Wolf Pack have also benefited from playing the likes of Wyoming and San Jose State in recent Games, so this will be a major step-up in class. It’s hard not to see Isaiah Stevens and this Rams offense shoot more effectively than what Nevada faced in its most recent Games, especially at home. Even though they boast an exceptional defense, I still expect the Wolf Pack to struggle defending the Colorado State motion offense in a hostile environment, so let’s get to the window with the hosts on Tuesday.
