Cincinnati Reds vs Pittsburgh Pirates Prediction
I’ll lean toward the Reds here but I’m probably not touching it. Spiers had a rough time out in his last appearance, giving up four earned in 6.0 innings versus the Pirates. Prior to that however, Spiers had just one earned in 9.0 innings over two outings.
On Sunday the Reds fell behind 4-0 and eventually 7-1, but did make a valiant attempt at a comeback. Cincinnati’s issues were on the mound for the most part. That said, if Spiers can notch a quality start the Reds should be fine.
