Many thought this would be the most lopsided series of the 1st round of the NBA playoffs. The Boston Celtics have been by far the most dominant team in the Eastern Conference while the Heat scrapped through the play-in and lost Jimmy Butler in the process. But after 2 games in Boston, the Heat have surprisingly been able to gain home court advantage throughout the rest of the series, and will look to keep it here in Game 3. You can check out all of our NBA picks for today’s games, but for now, let’s jump into my Game 3 Celtics vs Heat Same Game Parlay picks.

Over 202.5 (-110)

Brown over 2.5 made threes (+116)

Porzingis to record 2+ blocks (-180)

Parlay odds: +408

Over 202.5 (-110)

The teams took turns in the opening 2 Games to get hot from beyond the arc. It has helped the total reach 208 in Game 1 and 212 in Game 2. If they carry on the same form here, it is hard to see a drop off in scoring. Even in the Games they lost and struggled offensively, the Heat put up 94 points while the Celtics managed 101. Similar struggles here would not leave a massive gap for the opposing team to over to hit this over. It is worth noting that all 3 regular season Games between these sides comfortably cleared the 203-point mark too. It helps that the Celtics have been 4th in offensive rating among playoff teams this postseason. This line seems set way too low.

Jaylen Brown over 2.5 made threes (+116)

The Heat seem content to have Jaylen Brown to be the one to beat them from beyond the arc. The guard was allowed to take 5 3-pointers in Game 1, which rose to 9 in Game 2. In both efforts, he was able to knock down 3 3-pointers. He is a 35.4% shooter from 3-point range on the season. That is efficient enough to ensure that if he gets anywhere close to 9 attempts again, he should be able to hit this over. Considering that his 3-point percentage is the lowest among all Celtics starters, expect these opportunities to keep getting presented to Brown tonight.

Kristaps Porzingis to record 2+ blocks (-180)

When you are 7’2”, you are expected to get blocks. Kristaps Porzingis has been delivering in the opening 2 Games, managing 2 in each. That is right around his average of 1.9 blocks per Game in the regular season. Being matched up against Bam Adebayo helps in this regard. The Celtics would be happy to give him 3-point looks, so Porzingis does not have to worry about closing him down out there. Instead, he can stick to hanging around the free throw line and down, allowing him to be effective as a help defender. As a result, he should have plenty of opportunities to impact and swat away Heat shots tonight.
