Celtic Receive Laughable Offer for Defender
Legia Warsaw is reportedly interested in re-signing Maik Nawrocki from Celtic with an offer of £1.2 million, according to Polish outlet GP24.
That offer is significantly below what Celtic paid last year for the defender.
Nawrocki, who joined Celtic for over £4 million from Legia, had declined a loan return to the Polish club earlier this summer, expressing a desire to secure a position at Celtic.
However, Nawrocki’s situation at Celtic has been complicated by injuries that sidelined him during the preseason and excluded him from the squad for the first two matches of the season, despite being back in training.
This development has sparked speculation about his future at Celtic, although the club is not expected to accept Legia’s initial low offer.
He could very well make an exit this summer, but Celtic won’t be letting him go for cheap, especially a 1/4 of the fee that brought him to Glasgow last summer.
