Celtic Post Brilliant Luke McCowan-Greg Taylor Halloween Throwback
There were no Halloween tricks in store for Celtic last night as they put Dundee to the sword in a convincing 2-0 victory at Parkhead.
Supporters had one eye on events at Pittodrie, which provided their team with an early treat, Aberdeen walking away 2-1 winners to send the Hoops nine points clear of city rivals Rangers.
Things are hotting up between the Celts and Jimmy Thelin’s Dons at the Scottish Premiership’s summit, but the Swede refuses to get bogged down by title talk just yet.
Indeed, we are only at Halloween, and there are still 28 league matchdays left in the season.
Because it is spooky season, though, Celtic took to Instagram this morning, sharing a brilliant throwback of current bhoys Greg Taylor and Luke McCowan.
The picture shows the pair dressed up for Halloween, several years before their respective spells with the Hoops:

Both players started last night. Taylor returned to the team after a brief injury layoff, while McCowan kept his place after scoring in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Motherwell.
The left-back wasn’t at his best, although against his former club, McCowan brought a characteristic energy to the middle of the pitch, which few players matched.
The ex-Dundee man is cup-tied for Saturday’s semi-final showdown with Aberdeen but will be raring to go if given an opportunity against RB Leipzig next week.
