Business Beat: Lifespan’s Marcia Neiberg joins board of directors of HopeHealth

HopeHealth, a regional nonprofit leader in hospice, palliative care and home care, has announced the appointment of Marcia Neiberg, MBA, to its board of directors. Neiberg is the senior vice president, chief strategy and planning officer, and chief of staff at Lifespan, a non-profit Providence-based health system.

Neiberg brings decades of leadership in strategy, planning and operations of integrated Health systems. She joins HopeHealth’s 22 existing board members in strategically advising the organization’s hospice, palliative and home care services across Rhode Island, Greater Boston and southeastern Massachusetts.

“Marcia Neiberg is a strategic force in the field of nonprofit health care in our region, with an impressive track record of helping health systems grow, thrive and continuously improve care,” says board chair Vincent Mor, PhD. “We are honored to now have her among our board of directors.”

At Lifespan, Neiberg provides strategic and general planning and administrative leadership across the Health system. Previously, she served as senior leader for the unit responsible for all future ambulatory growth at Mass General Brigham, from negotiations to site planning and marketing strategy. There and in previous roles with Yale’s Health system, she excelled in Business planning and strategic financial analysis.
