Annual investment in future leaders increases by more than 50%
Today, Centreville Bank announced it is awarding $60,000 in scholarships to 15 high school seniors to help them further their education. This year, the bank created two new scholarships totaling $30,000, expanded its existing program to award $15,000 in scholarships and provided $15,000 in scholarships to children of bank employees.
“Centreville Bank is committed to helping graduating high school students in communities we serve create progress through entrepreneurship, advocacy, volunteerism and community service,” said Paola Fernandez, Senior Vice President of Community Development. “These students have demonstrated they are taking purposeful actions to make their communities better. We are pleased to be able to support them as they exemplify behaviors that align with the bank’s commitment to bettering the communities we serve.”
