Business Beat: Bookkeeping Towne will mark one-year anniversary in East Providence
Community leaders, Business professionals, dignitaries and Governor McKee are planned for the festivities commemorating the first anniversary of Bookkeeping Towne, LLC in East Providence.
CEO and Founder, Dolly Towne, DCB, plans on celebrating her milestone with an Open House taking place at her new office on 1275 Wampanoag Trail (Rte. 114) on Tuesday, March 3, beginning at 6:00 PM. Towne, who recently moved her initial office from Sprout co-Working in Warren, said the change was necessary to build on her growing Business and be more centrally located to her clients.
“I saw the need to be more accessible to my clients, and there was an opportunity for me to accomplish that here,” said Towne, who cites attending networking events and groups for her initial success. “My customers are located through the state, and being here makes it easier for them to see me for their financial needs.”
Sponsored in conjunction with the East Bay Chamber of Commerce, her free event will feature a chance to meet her and her business, other like-minded professionals and connect with local officials. There will be light refreshments and door prizes, including a gift basket for a lucky attendee.
Over the last 15 years, Dolly Towne helped individuals & employees understand their finances and taxes while working in Corporate America. Towne is a Certified Professional Bookkeeper, Certified Payroll Professional and a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
Bookkeeping Towne. LLC is a virtual bookkeeping firm specializing in helping small Businesses with data entry of their sales receipts, bills, invoices, payroll and reconciliations. Bookkeeping Towne focuses on educating and helping their clients understand bookkeeping by providing them tutorials in certain aspects of QuickBooks Online.
For 2020, Bookkeeping Towne will be focusing on helping more of the food-related Businesses with their bookkeeping issues. That includes scheduling bookkeeping sessions where they go to the client’s Business location and have a one-to-one question and answer session. This will give their clients a chance to ask any questions that they have on a certain topic in bookkeeping and/or QuickBooks. This new service will be rolled out in March. Towne said she decided on this service because clients sometimes have questions that they don’t ask their bookkeepers adding that the more the client knows, the more it will help their Business.
