Bryce Young’s Girlfriend Ditches Him For NBA Star

Bryce Young was benched by the Carolina Panthers this past weekend after a disastrous start to his 2024 NFL season.

It was the second biggest story in all of football this week, right after Charissa Thompson’s wild outfit to NFL on FOX Sunday nearly melting the internet.

Through two weeks of action the former Alabama star recorded a 55 percent pass completion rate, 245 total yards and three picks. In the process his Panthers went 0-2.

Given that the franchise invested heavily in acquiring the picks necessary to draft Young last year, many were stunned that Carolina opted to bench him so early in the year in favor of a veteran like Andy Dalton.

“This was something that after I watched the film, I looked at it, had a thought, started talking to the guys that we make decisions with,” Panthers head coach Dave Canales told reporters.

“Certainly a lot of parties involved there. Ultimately this comes on me, and my No. 1 responsibility is to help the Panthers this win, and this move I believe puts us in the best chance to do that this week.”

As if Young’s professional life wasn’t awful enough, his personal life is now taking a beating as well.

Turns out, Young’s girlfriend Myra Gordon has ditched him in favor of Philadelphia 76ers star, Tyrese Maxey.

Gordon and Maxey were seen together at Monday night’s showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons.

Big picture, whereas Maxey is a star on the ascent in the NBA – nobody quite knows where Young goes from here.

History generally isn’t kind to top draft picks who get benched early in their runs.

Will Young be able to get his personal and professional life back on track? Time will tell.
