The Toronto Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox meet Tuesday in MLB action from Fenway Park. Here’s a Toronto Blue Jays vs Boston Red Sox prediction. This will be the second installment in a four-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Blue Jays vs Red Sox pick.
Toronto Blue Jays Betting Preview
The Blue Jays took on the Los Angeles Angels in their last series. Toronto did well in that one, taking a sweep over four Games. On Monday versus Boston, the Jays took a 7-3 victory. Starter Jose Berrios finished with 7.2 innings and two earned runs.
In the starter slot for Tuesday the Blue Jays will send out Yariel Rodriguez. This year Rodriguez is 1-5 with a 4.40 ERA in the first 14 starts of his career.

As starting pitcher Tuesday the Red Sox are going with Cooper Criswell. So far Criswell is 5-4 with a 4.41 ERA in 20 Games (14 starts). In 32 career Games (16 starts) Criswell is 6-6 with a 4.91 ERA.

Toronto Blue Jays vs Boston Red Sox Prediction
I’ll lean toward the Blue Jays but I’m probably staying away from this one. Rodriguez has struggled over his last two outings, going just 9.1 innings with nine earned runs in that pair. As for Criswell, he’s coming off one earned in 4.2 innings but had eight earned over 4.0 innings prior to that.
On Monday the Jays had one big inning with five runs in the fifth. The pitching was the real MVP here, as Berrios and Brendon Little finished off the whole Game all by themselves. Toronto’s pen will be well-rested for the Tuesday Game two.
